The Opportunity

You will help own Duende's investor relationships and capital strategy across Latin America. Working alongside our Mexico City-based Partner and the broader Capital Formation team, you will build and manage relationships with family offices, private wealth platforms, HNW individuals and institutional allocators; translate Duende's investment pipeline into thoughtful investor engagement; and deepen long-term capital partnerships across the region.

What You'll Do

• Build and manage a high-quality network of Latin American family offices, private wealth platforms, HNW individuals and institutional allocators, with a clear view of mandate, check size, sector interests and timing
• Coordinate investor engagement around approved opportunities in partnership with the investment, operations and legal teams, ensuring clear communication and efficient execution
• Own the relationship cadence with existing and prospective capital partners across the region, including ongoing coverage, portfolio communication and follow-up
• Represent Duende selectively across the Latin American private-markets ecosystem through investor meetings, small events, family-office networks and relevant industry forums
• Build relationships with regional wealth platforms, professional-services firms, fund managers and other ecosystem partners that can deepen Duende's investor network
• Provide local perspective on investor behavior, portfolio objectives and private-market appetite, and communicate those insights back to the broader Duende team

What You Bring

• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with family offices, private wealth clients, HNW investors or institutional allocators across Latin America; backgrounds in fund IR, private banking, wealth management, family offices, placement or alternatives are all relevant
• An existing, active network of sophisticated Latin American investors with an appetite for venture, growth and private-market exposure
• Strong working knowledge of venture and private-market mechanics, subscription processes and fund/SPV structures
• Fluent in Spanish and English, with the judgment and communication skills to represent Duende credibly with senior investors across the region

Nice to Have

• Portuguese fluency and existing relationships in the Brazilian private-wealth or family-office ecosystem
• Prior experience in private banking, family-office coverage, alternatives distribution or institutional investor relations in Latin America

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $225,000–$275,000 USD commensurate with experience, network and responsibilities
• Variable: Performance bonus plus carry/points participation
